I've had better Chinese food than I described above at Chinese BUFFET restaurants in Meridian!Trackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15653070522513819673noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-662475529832589941.post-88774687129729948002011-03-29T18:49:25.901-06:002011-03-29T18:49:25.901-06:00I agree wholeheartedly, I just don't want my e...I agree wholeheartedly, I just don't want my extremely limited amount of influence responsible for taking down a restaurant just because the food is sub-par. If I get sick or see something horrifying while I'm there, that's another matter entirely. Either way, I'm going to be having some very decent dim sum in Portland about two months from this very day, and that should mend my broken heart a little.Trackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15653070522513819673noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-662475529832589941.post-75953675956860091012011-03-29T14:30:04.965-06:002011-03-29T14:30:04.965-06:00I'm quite curious what the actual restaurant i...I'm quite curious what the actual restaurant is. I'm guessing it's like in a strip mall in Meridian. I admit I'm biased, but I already have one foot out that door if I see no Asians working in an Asian restaurant.

And I wouldn't worry about criticizing restaurants for mediocrity, as there's way too much of that around here. Safe boring options that cater to a low common denominator. Then again, they may only survive as a business because the people around here want that low common denominator. But I don't see the problem in calling the food "boring" or "uninspired." The cooks/owners may even be fully aware of it but do what it takes to appease the masses.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
