I have mixed feelings about it, because I did end up going back and not being very impressed. My lasagna was good but not heated all the way through, and I did finally end up getting a cannoli which was frankly disgusting. Perhaps his kind of food doesn't lend itself well to being served from a truck? Either way, while cruising around Meridian about a week ago I saw another Giacinto's truck driving around, but it was one for moving food, not serving it. Perhaps he's found another fixed location, or maybe he's just doing catering now? Either way, I got the feeling that he could do much better than the stuff I tried if he had a real kitchen to serve it out of.Trackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15653070522513819673noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-662475529832589941.post-61582081958652086612011-03-29T22:33:23.415-06:002011-03-29T22:33:23.415-06:00I remembered dining at Giacinto restaurant located...I remembered dining at Giacinto restaurant located in Pioneer building sometimes in '02. The restaurant was since closed down. Not sure if this food truck is running by the same guy that used to own the then restaurant. I'd seafood ravioli and it was divine! I kept bragging about going back to his restaurant again but never got around to. He was very nice. He even let us taste his homemade gruppa! When you see a cook cares about his food you know the food is good!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
